Question vanilla-KDE vs Kubuntu's KDE


Im looking for opinions in which one is better? and what people thing about what kubuntu does to kde when its installed? I have been thinking about this for a while and trying to decide if i want to go to basic kde and removed the kubuntu settings

Well, I always start with a base Debian install and just aptitude install kdebase instead of full KDE. Then I add only the programs I want as I need them. It was lightweight enough to run on my old Celeron 400MHz w/ 256MB RAM.

so I guess my opinion is stripped down KDE...
