Welcome to LQ. .. ..

sudo apt-get install libglu1-mesa-dev

.. will provide 'lGLU', which means 'libGLU.so'.

I did sudo apt-get install libglu1-mesa-dev
but I get:
libglu1-mesa-dev : Depends: libglu1-mesa (= 8.0.4-0ubuntu0.7) but 9.0.0-0ubuntu1~precise1 is to be installed

so what can I do to solve?
Thank you,

The right command is :

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install libglu1-mesa-dev
