Using natty mixing avlinux into **Guru** needed


Im using Natty narwhale but im mixing av linux into it I need some commands so it only searches for latest liquoirix debs from now on but updates first on ubuntu on all other requirements so as to not double up my packages I had seen this somewhere how to do

AV Linux is based on Debian, the liquorix kernels are for Debian also. Debian and Ubuntu are not compatible. With mixing Ubuntu and AV Linux you will most likely break your system. I would not recommend to do something like that.

Rather than doing that, have you tried Ubuntu Studio: http://ubuntustudio.org/
This is a version of Ubuntu that includes a large selection of multimedia apps. This would be a much easier way to build a multimedia system than trying to mix incompatible repositories into Ubuntu.
