usb drive in Kubuntu

Using Kubuntu 6.06
How do I change the path of the USB desktop icon because as of right now the path is wrong and I'm not sure where I can change this setting.

If that fails then is there a way to remove or rename the USB desktop icon?

Any help is appreciated

I know its probably not good forum ethics to answer your own posts but just in case someone else was wondering the same thing here is the answer............

Go to the Desktop settings in the Kubunty System Setting; under the Behaviours settings there is a Device icons tab: un-checking the 'Unmounted removable media' box did the trick........
