Unistall Flash

Hi everyone,

Firstly....I am a newbie, so go easy on me!
How can I completely uninstall adobe flash from my machine, both from the user account and globally (if such a thing exists)? I thought I could do it from the "Add/Remove", and "Synaptic Package Manager" but don't seem to find it.

Thanks!

Couple of ways.

If you have checked and made sure flashplugin-nonfree is not installed... you can go into the .firefox (or equivelent folder) then plugins and delete the flash*.so file i think its called for each user.

The easiest way is to open the terminal and type:

Code:
sudo apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
