Unable to install ubuntu in a RHEL5 xen environment

Hi guys,

I'm testing RHEL5 Xen to see if I can install multiple instances of OS (which is what virtualization is for heh). Anyway, it doesn't work for Ubuntu range of distro (Kubuntu etc)

on startup of the guest domain, the screen just remain black.

The server itself output the following

Quote:
[root@backup ~]# libvir: Xen Daemon error : internal error domain information incomplete, missing name
libvir: error : library call virDomainGetXMLDesc failed, possibly not supported
libvir: error : library call virDomainGetXMLDesc failed, possibly not supported

Introspect error: No device with id /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_Kubuntu_7_04_amd64
Introspect error: No device with id /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_Ubuntu_6_06_amd64
I am using paravirtualized. Something I am missing?

I think xen needs tweaking(am not any expert) and the kernel you uses be compiled for all xen options enabled.
