unable to find wanted xterm font
I recently installed Ubuntu Feisty 7.04. I have Fedora 6 installed on another machine, which is what I mainly use. I use a custom xterm to do all my work.

On my Fedora install I always use

xterm -fn "-*-courier-bold-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-*-*"
However, running this command on the Ubuntu install, I get an xterm with a totally different (and ugly) font.

I have tried installing various font packages, but this makes no difference.
Please help, I really want to get a decent xterm with the same font as on Fedora...

If you're sure that courier is installed on your system, you could use "xfontsel" or "gtkfontsel" to configure the font line that you add to xterm. You might be missing some identifiers that Ubuntu is looking for eg:
