Hey,

I was following the ubuntu guide site for setting up MySQL / Apache / PHP...but I hit a roadblock.

I installed MySQL, and everything worked. With Apache2, the server was up and the default pages displayed...but PHP doesn't work at all.

I tried to run a simple page with just <?php phpinfo(); ?>, and I got an error when I went to it, saying it could not include .:/usr/share/php:,:/usr/share/php...even with an empty file I got this error :P

What could be wrong? It says "Permission Denied" on the error page as well, so is it folder permissions? If so, what would I have to change?

Have you installed "libapache2-mod-php4" ? If so, check in /etc/apache2/mods-enabled for a link to /etc/apache2/mods-available/php4.load .

If all that's true and it still isn't working, then I'm stumped.
