Ubuntu Server

Well, it looks like it has happened Ubuntu has a Sparc-based server version I am just wondering if anyone is running this version of a Sun Ultra 5 machine. I myself run Debian 3.1r2 on a Sun Ultra 5 here at home and that pretty much runs my main servers.

Great you're happy, but what's a "Sparc"?

Mostly likely yes since your machine is a later one (with a UltraSPARC-IIi) and supported under Sarge. Only one to find out though.

Back in the day that was a great machine to have. Still good stuff.

twilli227, While not being a good one at all, that was a joke...

BTW, from your link:

Ubuntu is arguably one of the most important - if not the most important - GNU/Linux distribution on the planet
Wow, well that's a statement!
