Ubuntu+Raid1 on Dell Precison T3400

Hi ,

I just saw an interesting post regarding Ubuntu installation on Dell Precison T3400 here:

I was just about to try to install Ubuntu 9.10 or 10.04 on a Dell Precison T3400 at my lab when I noticed the Raid configuration (2x500Go).
It seems people managed to do this kind of installation.
I am not really confortable with this kind of advanced installation, it's the first time I install Linux on a Raid system.
Would it be possible to have some guidance please? Does anybody knows the details of this installation process?
