cobrajs LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2004 Location: Fredericksburg, VA Distribution: Kubuntu Posts: 16 Rep:	Ubuntu Kernel Source + Software Suspend 2 Has anyone been able to compile Software Suspend 2 into the Ubuntu/Debain kernel source? I have been ripping my hair out over this problem for weeks now. I have tried using a vanilla kernel (did not have wireless or drm patches) and applying all of the patches by hand. The latter worked, but caused a kernel panic on resume. Kernel Version = 2.6.12 Software Suspend 2 Version = 2.1.9.9 Laptop = Dell 700m Wireless = IPW2200 Can someone help me get Software Suspend 2 to compile into it, or point me in the direction of the patches needed for the 700m?
