that's awesome work you've done so far. when you get the distro's in the mail, you'll have fun trying those and you'll have a better idea of what to do if your gui doesn't work or it freezes. maybe the shipped version of dapper will be a better disk and install great. time will tell with that but it's great that your up and running or atleast semi-up and running.
