Ubuntu and Quantum hard drive
I have a configuration with 3 scsi harddrives:
Quantum, seagate and compaq, all of them 18 Gb. Windows, DSL, Mandrake, the have no problem to install and run. Not so for ubuntu. Even installed on the seagate drive now, if I connect the quantum harddrive, ubuntu fails to boot, giving a page full of errors on this drive (0,0,1) on my configuration and I/O errors, failing to boot. Same with the live cd. Partitioning the quantum with Ubuntu only results in failures to write the partition table. Is there any way I can solve this problem ? |
