Hi

I've been a little confused today

I installed
VLC Mplayer Kaffeine and Totem
yet cannot get dvds to play.

Mplayer from a console gets this

There are 65 titles on this DVD.

There are 28 chapters in this DVD title.

There are 1 angles in this DVD title.

Kaffeine and Totem complain
Maybe you havent permission to read this drive or a CSS protected Disk.

*I've tried my CSS protected Terminator II DVD
and a Family unprotected DVD
*both receive the same errors.
*I have used Automatix to install DVD support
*I have tried two individual DVDrom drives
*I have completely reinstalled Ubuntu from scratch

Any ideas?
