i installed ubuntu, now trying to apt-get update, and dosent work, i checked the synaptic package managment and added the universe and multivers, still not... and gives a temporary failure resolving msg, ang gpg...
Are you sure you followed the instructions exactly because I just did this two seconds ago:

P.S. Make sure you paste the given sources.list over your entire old one. Do not add it to your current sources.list, and do not add any other sources.
i did excatly, and PRECIESLY, but still, i have set up the newtwork perfectly, i can browse the net also, can ping to other machine on the network but still dosent work... any ideas at all

Do you happen to have Synaptic Package Manager open when you're doing the apt-get update?
well actualy that "another process is process using it?", was synamptic running, but have treied without it also, still the same mesage ecept the "another process is process using it?", i was trying to copy the error message
