Post Ubuntu 5.04 Graphics support for intel915 chip


Hai
My Problem is i am not getting 915 graphics support
with Ubuntu.i tried to install those common" and i915 from dri.freedesktps.org.only those common files are installed.other package fails during compiling,what should i do?i also tried changing device from vesa to i810,then also no screen found replied.please HELP!

Try getting the Intel drivers from Intel.com, they also include instructions for amending xorg.conf/xf86config.
