Hi all,
cause situation due to covid-19 I need to use my system to participate to webinars and meetings with zoom or other programs. recentry I started to have a problem with the audio of my system.
The system is a pc with:
mobo: asus M4A87TD/usb3,
processor AMD phenpm II x4 965 black edition
RAM 16 GB
webcam logitec C210
The problem is that I'm not able to hear from the headphones and to speak correctly using the headset microphone.
I tried to use both pavucontrol and gnome alsamixer but the situation is always the same:
if I set the configuration as "surroud analogic 4.0 + analog input" the headphones are not detected.
If i set the configuration as "analog stereo" the headphones are detected but the sound is always emitted by the front speakers
About the microphone under configuration "analog stereo" I cannot use the microphone of the webcam because I can hear only the plugged microphone of the headset
The command aplay -l provides the following answer:
Code:
aplay -l

Is there anybody that can suggest me how to solve the issue?
EDIT: for several years, with an ubuntu 16.04, it worked properly.
Thanks
Claudio
