Ubuntu 12.10 - make it dual boot with Windows 7

Hello,

I am currently having
Linux Ubuntu 12.10 on my hard disk.

So, I would like to make partitions to the hard disk and use it dual boot with Windows 7.

Is there any way that I can make partitions and install the Windows 7 also to the disk without losing any work ?

Take look at: Ubuntu Documentation on Duel Booting

From the Ubuntu Documentation:
Quote:
A Windows OS should be installed first, because its bootloader is very particular and the installer tends to overwrite the entire hard drive, wiping out any data stored on it.
Look over the entire article and follow the external links that look promising.

Check out the detailed tutorials on this site for dual booting Ubuntu + windows7:
http://members.iinet.net/~herman546/
Specifically, see these:

Just use the one that applies to your setup.
