Unhappy Ubuntu 11.10 HELP NO longer have Read Write Permissions on external NTFS USB Drive

Recently upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10, I have changed nothing, only thing I can think of is low battery Hibernated when closed laptop lid...has changed since this event...Current settings show:Owner=folder access, Group=None, Others=None...does not allow changes
