[SOLVED] ubuntu 10.10's brasero has taken over my TopMenu's Places button

YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! (Pardon the caps). Everything seems fine now. I'll restart and check again. But I see no reason, why I shouldn't be back to a workable system. Many thanks Josh. Still don't understand the mechanics, but it works.

One more thing to research -- mime types. Had absolutely no idea, what they were before this problem. Still don't. But in the morning its on my todo list, to at least research mime types and get a cursory knowledge for future use by end of day. Consider it (almost) done. Cheers.
