Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 grub screen

Hello all;

When I boot Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64, the grub screen appears "moved" it is a text screen, but tthe text does not appear centered in the screen, it appears moved to the right, as if the screen was a panoramic format, and it is not.

It is not a problem for selecting the operating system to boot, but it is uncomfortable. Anyone else with this problem? Any solution?

Thank yo very much in advance,

Yes GRUB 2 of UBUNTU do have text screen for the boot options .
Do you're monitor have a auto adjustment button to adjust you're monitor ?
If so use it while UBUNTU is already running and see what happens.

monitor and auto configure buttom

first of all thank you for the response.
My monitor has the "auto" button, but it does not work for the text screen of grub. It tries to configure, but remains in the same configuration. Once Ubuntu is launched, I have the correct resolution.

Is there any grub configuration files to configure manually the boot text screen? Where are they?

Thank you all..

GRUB isn't the cause. It's screen resolution/timing problem. Try moving the image manually, using Menu etc. buttons.
