Ubuntu 10.04, problem activating wifi connection on a Toshiba Satellite.

Help would be much appreciated with my following problem.
Using a laptop computer, model Satellite C660/115 with Windows 7OWS. The HDD is partitioned with Ubuntu ver 10.04.
The Windows 7 system works OK with both wired ethernet and wifi, but Ubuntu Firefox works only with wired ethernet.
Does this computer model support Ubuntu Firefox wifi?

Hi,
Did you try the 'Function' key (Fn) + F8 (the key with WiFi icon on it)?
