TV-Output


Hi, so my problem is with tv output, picture on tv is shaking. But while is Ubuntu logo shown and orange progress bar everything is okey, but when i get to the login screen pictures on tv is shaking.
Spent few days with that, tried many advices for other users in many forums.

What information should I give, to get helped?

If I were in your situation, I would check the PAL or NTSC jumper settings on the card, depending on where you are in the world. Living in England, my card has to be set to PAL for the signal to work correctly (on most televisions). I had a very similar problem with an old nvidia card, which was from abroad, and would not work with our PAL tv set. Consult the manual of your computer or graphics card to see. Im not sure if this will help, but I had a problem that sounded very similar several years back, because the card was not configured correctly.
