Hey everyone,
Up until now, Ubuntu has been mounting my flash drive automatically. However, recently it hasn't been mounting it at all. So I tried:
Code:
sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sda /media/usb
and it doesn't work. It gives me the error:
Quote:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
|
So I do as I'm told and do:
When I do that, I get the following.
Code:
[17179692.936000] cramfs: wrong magic
[17179692.940000] VFS: Can't find ext3 filesystem on dev sda.
[17179692.940000] NTFS-fs warning (device sda): is_boot_sector_ntfs(): Invalid boot sector checksum.

[17179703.072000] FAT: invalid media value (0xb9)

Any help on this would be great. Thanks!
