Toshiba laptop and bluetooth

I bought a Toshiba C55-5200 on last Black Friday and have fought a war with it ever since. Running Xubuntu 14.04LTS.
My latest problem is trying to get Bluetooth working. I have searched the web trying to find an answer. I downloaded toshset64, but it gives a "required kernel toshiba support not enabled." error. But, lsmod shows

toshiba_bluetooth 12852 0
toshiba_acpi 22901 0
sparse_keymap 13948 1 toshiba_acpi
wmi 19177 1 toshiba_acpi

notice the toshiba_bluetooth module that got loaded. So, why doesn't Settings->Bluetooth work?

Searching the web yields partial answers, references to much older kernels, etc.

All I can say is when I look up that model, it says "No Bluetooth" http://www.toshiba.com/us/computers/.../C50/C55-B5200 see under the Communication section.

That's funny,
dmesg | grep toshiba
[ 14.103764] toshiba_acpi: Toshiba Laptop ACPI Extras version 0.19
[ 14.170451] toshiba_bluetooth: Detected Toshiba ACPI Bluetooth device - installing RFKill handler
[ 14.170811] toshiba_bluetooth: Re-enabling Toshiba Bluetooth

lsmod | grep toshiba
toshiba_bluetooth 12852 0
toshiba_acpi 22901 0
sparse_keymap 13948 1 toshiba_acpi
wmi 19177 1 toshiba_acpi

And, booting Windows 8.1(dual boot) I can enable bluetooth and pair my Android tablet with it. So, I don't know why the toshiba web site says that, but bluetooth is definenatly in this laptop. Now, the web page states "No Antenna", so the functionality may be in it, but limited range. May test that out.
