The password to unlock the screen

Hi,
I am using the liveCD of Ubuntu. What is the password of the default user to unlock the screen lock? I can change the password of the user when I log in, but it should have a default one. I didn't find any in the forum though.

I don't think the Ubuntu live CD comes with a Password.

You can set the password using the passwd utility.
Just type that at the console and the password can be changed.

Also, there have been some problems like this one discussed before and the easiest step to this one, is restarting the Desktop Env. by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Bkspace.

Just on another note..

The problem with Mepis is not quite uncommon as such..
The default Mepis root and user passwords are root and user respectively.
