Sudo for more than one user


Sorry if it's already asked. I want to add one more user which can do sudo. is it possible? How?

Yes - you can add entries to the /etc/sudoers file with the rights that you choose. Have a look at man sudoers for more info.

If you want to manage the users on an Ubuntu system:

- Go to the "System" menu -> "Administration" -> "Users and Groups".
- Select the name of the user privileges you want to change.
- Click on the "Properties" button.
- You will get a settings dialog for that user, go to the last tab, "User privileges".
- Check the second item, "Execute system administration tasks".

If you want to ensure that the user has all of the same privileges as you, check their privileges against yours.
