Splash screen at boot no visible. Solved.

Hey all,

Got Ubuntu Lucid since some time. When I installed clean Lucid, it showed no splash screen. I paid no heed. It worked but after grub window, it went blank and directly to login screen. I did not try to work out for long but recently got it working. If anyone got this issue edit file splash in
Code:
sudo vi/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash
And append

Code:
FRAMEBUFFER=y
Save the file and
Code:
update-initramfs -u
