specifying the filesystem type for iso

When I want to mount an iso file with "-o loop" I get an error that need the filesystem type. How can I fix that?

mount: you must specify the filesystem type

Hi,

Never had to provide type when mounting an iso, but you could try with:

-t iso9660

Hi,

Have you checked the md5sum of your download? Looks to me that mount is unable to read the iso.

Hi,

No problem. Download the image again, test the md5sum and see if you can mount it correctly. Please let us know if it works.
