SMTP authentication error in Evolution
 

Hi!

I've used Evolution for ages but the last couple of days have seen me hit a problem. My e-mail is with Yahoo and it's always worked with Evolution flawlessly but now the SMTP won't authenticate. No prob's with receiving mail, it just won't send, keeps popping up the enter password box no matter how many times I enter it (it is the correct password).

Settings are:-

smtp.mail.yahoo.com for the server

server requires authentication is checked

no encryption

type = plain

It's always worked before!

P.S.

Just tried Claws mail, that refuses to even send mail to the queue!
