what speed do you have when you do ftp download from a known ftp server (from your provider)
Is the connection always slow, or only with apt-get? try another mirror |
its happening only with ubuntu. previously when i had debian installed, it was giving full speed upto 32KB. i have 256 kbps connection using motorola sb5100 modem. but since i installed ubuntu, its downloading at bytes.. max goes to 10KB,.thats it. there is no problem from isp.
