ShutDown/Reboot using "KDE graphical logout" and GDM ?


How can u add the "Shut Down" and "Reboot" options to KDE while using the GDM display manager?

cant quite remember but i think you have to run gdm as root. try that.

basically what it amounts to is that you have to have permission to halt or reboot. you could do it with sudo. but i believe that if you run gdm as root you can do it.
