Setting Up Local Ubuntu Repositories

I am currently trying to mirror the ubuntu archives Hoary without amd64 and ppc

Has anybody else tried to do this. Does anybody know how
big the main, mulitverse, universe packages will be on my system.

I estimate about 40GB but it could be well over that.

Any information will be much appreciated

p.s command i used was something like

wget -c -X /bigfile -R *_amd.deb,*_ppc.deb

In Gnome or whatever GUI you're using, run

gksudo synaptic

On the menu, go to Settings>Repositories

You can add all the universe repositories without knowing URLs
