remove automatic mounting of FAT and NTFS


i am using ubantu 7.04. In that while booting it automatically mount the windows FAT and NTFS partition with read permission.

Can i avoid the automatic mounting technique.

Yes. Remove them from your /etc/fstab file. Or add noauto option.
