Real Time Programming


I need to code in Real Time Java for a university project. I have kubuntu 6.06 installed; is it possible to convert it to a real time linux?

Any sorta help would be appreciated.

I wonder what is the meaning of realtime for you. I'd join 1 project which need external counter card, because the processor have many process to run, hard to have a very-very realtime response.
How fast response time you need?

If you are trying to use Java RTS, then it looks like it is not supported in linux. That above quote is from the same link you supplied. If you are trying to use something else, then maybe someone else might a suggestion
