Quicktime & Java in Firefox.

Hi,

Am using KUbuntu 6.10. Everything works, except that I cant play embedded quicktime (.mov) video and java in my firefox browser. For example if i play one of the movie trailers from www.apple.com - it shows "no video" and if i try to play an embedded java applet, it says "not enough methods".

All other streams seem to be working fine via 'mplayer'. I have installed all plugins via'automatix2'.

Regards,

Asad

Use the search tool here to see how to install Java and the plugin for it. Many post on the subject.

For quicktime I use the mplayerplugin.
