quick time movies


Is there a way to play quick time movies in Ubuntu Feisty??

If you use xine based players, mplayer based players and vlc, all you need to do is install the win32 codecs package using your distributions package manager.

Am using mplayer already and the win32 codecs are installed. Get the black screen when trying to run a QT.

If you wish to view Quicktime movies in your browser you'll also need a browser plugin. Quicktime isn't Microsoft, it's Apple. You may need package libquicktime.
