Question regarding Diablo 2: LOD under Ubuntu 8.04 with "playitonlinux"

I have an issue:

I run Ubuntu 8.04, and recently discovered a program called "Play It on Linux", which enables you to run windows games.

It works great. I use it to play Diablo 2, Lord of Destruction, and I am pleased... with one exception;

Where is my character file saved? I cannot find the path to save my life, and I'd really like to know where D2 is installed in my files.

Look under ~/.wine - POL like all other wine based apps creates a fake Windows file structure in your home directory.

No. I am still mystified.

under .wine I have:

dosdevices

drive_c

I've gone through subdirectory after subdirectory in each and nothing is to be found. I do have 'view hidden files' enabled too.

My saved character files have to be somewhere?

Got it

I solved it:

Here it is:

home >> sninja >> .PlayOnLinux >> wineprefix >> DiabloII >> drive_c >> Program Files >> Diablo II >> save

I could only get to this location by enabling "view hidden files" and running nautilus as root:

sudo nautilus
