Qt Installation erron in Ubuntu 10.04

Hi,
I'm trying to install Qt in my ubuntu 10.04 and I received the following error.

qvfbshmem.cpp:42:22: error: asm/page.h: No such file or directory

What I have to install to remove this error.

Thanks,

How are you trying to install Qt?
The best way would be to simply install the Qt from the Ubuntu repos:
Code:
sudo apt-get install qt-sdk
Or you can install it with Synaptic Package Manager, or the Software Center if you prefer.
See these links that I found with a quick search:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1560265
http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/qt-sdk
NOTE: If you are using any KDE apps in Ubuntu, you may already have the Qt packages installed.

What version of Ubuntu are you using? According to post #4 in this thread:

and qt4 provides legacy classes of qt3 just in case someone really needed them
So that should work for you I would think.

I'm trying to install Qt 4.2.2 on Ubuntu 10.04. How to get around this asm/page.h error?

Why don't you just install the qt-sdk from the Ubuntu repos instead of trying to install Qt from source code? As discussed here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1560265 the qt-sdk in Ubuntu provides legacy classes of qt3. What is the output of:
Code:
sudo apt-get install qt-sdk
Have you tried using the Qt from the Ubuntu repos before concluding that you must compile Qt from source?

Googling your error was not very helpful. It seems that you are about the only one reporting this problem. The only other reference I found on this was your other thread here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10107702

If you really must install Qt from source, you will be responsible for installing all the dependencies for it. Consult the README or the INSTALL file that came with the Qt source package and make sure you have all the dependencies.
