Hi All

I have setup an FTP server on my home machine (I have a fixed IP and am hosting my website from the same machine)

For some reason I am unable to connect to my server via FTP from the internet.

I can SSH onto the server and I my website works fine just not the FTP.

I have also noticed that if I connect from the internal network using my web address (gramtech.co.uk) it does not work
However, if is use
it works fine.

Hope some one has some ideas.
Please let me know if you need any further info.

My router is setup fine.

I'm sure there are plenty of FTP guru's out there who can help... Aren't there?

There must be someone who can help me with this...

I am guessing it is something in the pure-FTPd config cos it gives an different response on the initial connection when connecting from the local network as apposed to the internet...
