Programs crashing on startup- ccin_load_system_glossary error

Whenever I try to run almost any program in GNOME, they crash. In Terminal, it gives the error:
...
ccin_load_system_glossary function error: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
ccin_load_system_glossary function error: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

(ccin_load_system_glossary function error: No file or folder of this type)

This includes things like nautilus, gnome-panel, and other critical components. Why is this?

Note: This (usually) doesn't occur in failsafe GNOME, and I haven't seen it occur in Kubuntu yet. However, I'd rather not have to switch to either of those.
