Processor family for Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 370?


I compile kernel 2.6.39.1 for Ubuntu lucid and can't decide what processor family should be selected for my Intel Core i3.

Is it correct to select Core 2/newer Xeon?
I found this page, but still can't find the best solution for my case.

Seems from that page that CFLAGS is the same for iX and Core2Duo/Quads-

CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=core2 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"

If/when there are iX specific CFLAGS you should use them, for the moment march=core2 seems to be the best you can do.
