Problems with apache

I install apache. But when I do:
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart (or reload)
it happens nothing.
Who knows the problem?

Not sure what you mean by does nothing. Do you get an error message the the services didn't start?
Check if you have port 80 open in the firewall. With the initial installation, you will get a page that says "It works" or an apache document page.
