openoffice.org reguires a jave runtime environment (jre) to preform this task. Please install a JRE and restart openoffice.org
Please install the openoffice.org-jave-common package for this functionality.

Have java and openoffice.org-jave-common installed.

You need to tell open office where to find your installed java. Look for something like this: /usr/lib/jvm/java-x.x.x-sun-x.x.x.xx/jre/lib/i386/

Whatever the path turns out to be, that is the path to use in open office.

Also installing this package: openoffice.org-java-common is reported to solve the problem too.

problem was an old jave installed newer java and it works.
