problem with virtualbox and vboxdrv driver
Hi all, I've installed ubuntu 8.04, after I've installed VirtualBox and its modules. I created a disk for installing Windows XP but I have the following message:

VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. The vboxdrv kernel module was either not installed or /dev/vboxdrv was not created for some reason. Please install the virtualbox-ose-modules package for your kernel...

VBox status code: -1908 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED).

When I boot system I have following output about VirtualBox:

*Starting VirtualBox kernel module vboxdrv
*No suitable module for running kernel found
*Starting VirtualBox host networking

After I logged in the system:

#uname -r

What is the problem?
How can I solve this problem?

I prefer the binary from and once you have installed your binary you add yourself to the vbox users group .....but your issue sounds like the module has not loaded so try

/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup (with root powers)
