Problem with running SNMP agent : snmpd

Hi,
I installed net-snmp package 5.6.1.1 on UBUNTU version: 11.04
I compiled SNMP agent with MIB module and i created snmpd.conf file using snmpconf script, with following contents

###########################################################################
#
# snmpd.conf
#
# - created by the snmpconf configuration program
#

###########################################################################
# SECTION: Access Control Setup
#
# This section defines who is allowed to talk to your running
# snmp agent.

# rocommunity: a SNMPv1/SNMPv2c read-only access community name
# arguments: community [default|hostname|network/bits] [oid]

rocommunity public

And copied this snmpd.conf file to location /usr/local/share/snmp, when i run the command: /usr/local/sbin/snmpd -f -L -d -p 9999

PROBLEM:It is giving following error, i can't able to run the agent.. whether i need to install SNMP agent separately?[/COLOR]

Error opening specified endpoint ""
Server Exiting with code 1

But above command will work when i run as root. So how to fix it?

Please Provide me solution for this problem

Thanks N Regards
