Problem installing Nvidia glx drivers
i just switched form SuSE to Kubuntu, was able to get some of the problems solved.
Now i am having a problem installing the drivers for the video card. it is an Nvidia mobile go420 (or something along those lines) the initail time i insatlled the drivers, i restarted and X11 would crash, so i restored the xorg.conf file. i tried reinstalling the driver, which it installs fine, but when i run the "sudo" command which is on the Adept installer notification thing it says to chk the md5sum when i do those commands it asks, it still does not go. i try to edit the file manually, and it still wont work. when i change the driver to "nvidia" my X11 crashes when i restart. try removing the nvidia-glx you install from apt, maybe it conflicts with the nvidia drivers if you got them from nvidia.com
