Printer issue with Samsung ML-2010R

I use Ubuntu 8.04 always update.
2.6.24-28-generic

Don't print while on precedence work.
I don't known if that problem happen for some update.
I don't remember if i use the proprietary driver or not and however i don't find the proprietary driver on samsung for that model anymore.

Or eventually if isn't a problem about software but the toner end.

How i can verifiy and resolve that problem?

Thanks on advance for the help.

The recommended drivers can be downloaded here -->http://www.openprinting.org/printer/...amsung-ML-2010

Are you using Cups? Can you print test page?

Not sure what you mean by this

I've got three Samsung printers and one is color (CLP-300) and I have set up all three effortlessly using these instructions and driver....HERE

Here's a link to the Unified Print Driver for your model.....you might try it first as there has been reported success with it.

I think we have a bit of a language barrier. I believe the thumb nail shows the job in the print queue. Unfortunately I don't understand the 'Stato' field, Status ???

If you open a web browser, and type http://localhost:631 can you connect to Cups? If yes, go to the printer tab and look at the status of the printer. You can also look in the Jobs tab to see what is in the queue.

This sounds more like a hardware problem with the printer. Have you got the documentation for printer?
