Please Help With Make Command

Hi,

I tried to type make command so that it will compile necessary source files and create the executable program, but it showed the following error.

Could anybody please tell how to rectify the error.

XXX@xxxx:/home/xxxx/Desktop/mcs# make
g++ -ansi -pedantic -Wall -W -c mcs.cc
In file included from mcs.cc:54:
unp.h:43:59: error: sys/time.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [mcs.o] Error 1

Thanks,

vamsi.

Check your include paths. Also do a "locate time.h" to double check where it is.

When I first answered this post, I didn't realise it was a double post. I also didn't realise that this is a someone else's Makefile for a project. I though you were writing your own Makefile.

Please don't double post. It's against the rules. Also, try to explain things better on what you are doing. Such as "I am trying to build XXXX, but ...".
