please help with hugs98 setting

Does anyone know how to make file editable in hugs98. i currently get this message "ERROR - Hugs is not configured to use an editor" as i followed the instruction from http://www.cse.ogi.edu/PacSoft/proje...n/started.html
with ":s -E"vi +%d %s" +s" after i typed hugs from the terminal. i can edit the haskell files. But i don't want to keep doing this every time i use hugs. Does anyone know a better way. By the way i installed hugs98 from the "Adept Manager" don't know the actual path of hugs and how to set as described from the link provided above. please help.

create an alias (alias myhugs="hugs :s -E"vi +%d %s" +s"). then it is just "myhugs <filename>" and your cooking with fire.

you'll have to do this every time you open a term window or add the alias to your shell start up file.
